    1. This was cool I was never a Booster Gold or Blue Beetle fan, but this was cool Nicely told in chapters and good narrative voice Good ending.

    2. Very solid writing Johns is clearly able to get down deep into the emotional core of his characters by this point in his writing career Sets a very serious, ominous tone to the coming battles, intrigue and power plays Definitely has me looking forward to how some of the most talented creators at DC played these threads out.I m fascinated by the early events that DC Marvel were doing before they became a yearly exercise in trying to prop up flagging sales of all their books and launching lots of [...]

    3. I was stoked to find this a a free download on the DC mobile app, as I m currently going through the last 10 years of big DC events I have previously read Infinite Crisis and I really loved it Even though there were some parts that left me puzzled as to what was going on, but hey that s what is for isn t it This prequel builds the story for the main event, setting up the dynamics of the Justice League at this point, which at this point are quite strained It is based around the Blue Beetle Ted Ko [...]

    4. woof ta that was intense brand new story for me despite its age, I did no research or advance preparation, just decided to jump into Infinite Crisis and started with this I don t know the back story or where this actually falls in the many crisis series, but it hooked me definitely hope the big story is as enthralling Good art, good mystery, good reading

    7. ohhhh, yes yes yes, the time has come Infinite crisis is around the cornerThis was already a very good start to, what I believe, will be an epic story hopefully Too bad we already had to say goodbye to one of our heroes, but hey that s life

    8. If there was ever a book that made you want to go out and buy every other book remotely connected to it, this is the book

    9. This is one of the stories that helped transform me from a casual DC fan to a dedicated reader As a prelude to Infinite Crisis, its starts off the event with a bang It is also a fun jumping on point for readers who are familiar with DC characters but aren t sure where to start The story follows former Justice Leaguer Blue Beetle, a billionaire inventor and third string superhero, as he investigates thefts from his company Kord Industries Each chapter leads him to another clue while introducing t [...]

    10. Every time I start reading some one shot as an introduction to the greater event I begin to think that this is there just to give me background so I would have all information for the event And always I get proven wrong I did not care about Ted before and now I miss him Geoff Johns is master of universe changing one shots.

    11. Ultimate storylineJust loved the use of a second string JLA nonactive member carrying this storyline Awesome illustrations and great writing This is a must read to any JLA fan any comic fan for that matter.

    12. A great comic, after each chapter it gets better with a final scene that will blow your my with the blue beetle at the center of the story Totally recommended between chapters you will find the inspiration that set the place to a scene for Batman v Superman.

    13. Rot in hell, Max I really liked this issue It got me interested in Booster and Blue Beetle Will pick up Geoff Johns s run because of it.

    14. I read this thinking that Blue beetle was realy a weird character I m not going to bother hiding it ,it s on the cover photos ,BB s death shocked me brutality because I realy got to know him This left me wanting to read about his descendant. We follow him as the world gets dark ,and his death is later in the infinite crisis mini series showed as one of the pivotal moments before the crisis SPOILER Wonder Woman kills Maxwell Lord who shot in cold blood BB And of course ,all this was filmed and br [...]

    15. Previously, I ve written about one of my favorite single DC events Identity Crisis It s an excellent story contained in a single volume In other words, it s what I would call a graphic novel because it is unified in narrative and theme and is contained in a single volume, even though it was published initially as monthly comics At the end of my Identity Crisis review, I mentioned the books to purchase to follow up from that event, mainly those I plan to cover in detail in this series of reviews [...]

    16. I don t know much about the Blue Beetle, but he was a terrific character to narrate this stand alone issue that works as a quiet introduction into Infinite Crisis There has to be than this, but I imagine it s spread out among different series It moves along swiftly, and it s an outstanding example of solid comic book pace and narration I enjoyed it thoroughly especially with how dark and cold the world seems going into Infinite Crisis, after reading Crisis On Infinite Earths.

    17. As stated in my Prelude to Infinite Crisis I openly admit that except for Batman, Hellblazer Lobo I am not a dedicated follower or even a fan of the DC multiverse However unlike that TPB this truly acts as a prelude and guide to the DC newcomer as to what is coming and what has been happening.

    18. This was my introduction to Blue Beetle and I immediately liked the character Then he s murdered What the heck DC Here s to hoping for one of those comic book resurrections of some kindOn to Project OMAC

    19. Not an important reading but not a bad one eitherThe little things that are mentioned or that happened here make this comic an essential tie in There wasn t a lot of action but a good reading in any case.

    20. Bad choice for a first timer to jump into DC comics Afterwards I started with some New52 titles and they were much much suitable for readers unfamiliar with the DC universe.

    21. Its good just to understand Infinite Crisis and the role of the Blue Beetle, but its missing some action for me.

    22. Excellent story and art Nice surprising turn of events on some of the mainstay heroes of the DC universe Very enjoyable read Very recommended
