    1. Royal Secrets by Traci Hunter Abramson is a novel about royalty in a make believe small kingdom on the Mediterranean Sea This book also includes an American woman, working for the CIA, who becomes engaged to one of the princes who changes his religion and becomes a Mormon as his fianc e is a Mormon This novel is quite predictable, and as a result, I did not find it a good read The religious conflicts some of the characters experience is interesting, but ultimately where the book is going is easi [...]

    2. I got Royal Secrets for Mother s Day and I was really excited because I d wanted to read this book since it came out I apologize to all the other books on my TBR list because Royal Secrets went to the top of the list, as in, I started reading it immediately and ignored all the other books I d been reading until Royal Secrets was done Royal Secrets is the sequel to Royal Target In Royal Target we are introduced to the royal family of Meridia who needs the services of CIA agent Janessa Rogers to h [...]

    3. WHAT IT S ABOUTIt s been three years since the tragic Christmas Eve when CIA agent Alora DeSanto returned from a doctor s appointment to find her husband dead and her Paris home destroyed by a terrorist firebomb Still mourning her heavy loss, she seeks a new life for herself and her two young sons by accepting a job offer from her friend and fellow agent Janessa Rogers, who is engaged to marry Prince Garrett of Meridia As Janessa s personal assistant, Alora takes up residence in the royal chatea [...]

    4. A must read book Abramson too hit the mark on balancing romance with suspense and the twist with fairy tale ending of the finding your prince was fabulous I liked how Abramson touched on the subject that a lot of youth will face in finding, dating and marrying someone of their own faith There is an internal struggle with the characters of following the Church standards in marrying someone who can take you to the temple and falling in love with someone that isn t of your own faith even if they ar [...]

    5. A lora has a tragic past and two small sons When her friend, Janessa, asks her to come and be her personal assistant, she jumps at the chance Prince Stefano isn t what she expected Will she find love again, even if it means compromising her religion Meanwhile, money is being skimmed here and there from the royals and it s up to Alora to help find out who is doing it.I enjoyed Stefano and Alora They both had issues to work through, yet were great characters I would have enjoyed romance though As [...]

    6. There has to me another one to this it has a great ending, yet you feel there is so much I CAN T WAIT FOR MORE Okay this was gripping right from the first sentence Traci is an amazing author She effortlessly combines, a gripping story line with CIA, royalty, and intermixes the gospel, to make a smooth intriqueing, clean, gripping book that has you guessing and at the edge of your seat through the whole book It s as easy as breathing with her writing Excellent and very recommended to all Can t w [...]

    7. LOVED this book except that now I have to wait I hope for the third installment of this series As usual of books written by Traci, once I started reading it, I didn t want to put it down I had to gotta work, darnit, and sleep sometime , but I didn t want to.Especially since it s been a while since Royal Target was published, you may want to re read it to refresh your memories on characters and situations, as this pretty much picks up where that one leaves off However, it s not a requirement as t [...]

    8. Once again, another fantastic book by Traci Hunter Abramson I started reading it to destress and couldn t stop Now it s one in the morning and I m desperately wanting the next Royal book This one keeps your attention thoroughly and although you may know who some of the bad guys are, you don t know all of them, or why You go back and forth between You go back and forth between characters, but it is done well enough to not cause problems I was completely shocked by the ending That was a very jarri [...]

    9. What a great story I loved how this story was focused on the elder brother Stefano I love how the Gospel of Jesus Christ is tied into the story I loved it from start to finish Traci Hunter Abramson is such a great story teller, before her books I was never into Military, CIA type of stories The way Traci writes I have really enjoyed this genre It s really a trifecta of sorts You have Adventure, Mystery and Romance I highly recommend this book.

    10. I know it s fluff, but it s fun It s not overly preachy The adventure draws me into the story The likable characters make be believe in fairy tales While not realistic, the book allowed me to escape my life of kids and housecleaning for a few minutes of immersion in luxury Great fun Quick read Enjoyable I want by Abramson especially books that tell fun stories with likable characters

    11. Probably my favorite book so far by this author The mystery was well written, the romance predictable but enjoyable, with just the right amount of conflict before having it all come together in the end The CIA element was a nice blend with the rest of the story I nominated this one for the 2012 Whitney award, and I hope to find the time to read the previous book in this series.

    12. I liked the characters and the mystery Curious to see how it all plays out in book 3 I have to admit, I did have the bad guy picked from the beginning, but I think the author intended us to guess.

    13. I really liked the characters in this book I was a little disappointed in the abrupt ending The main conflict gets resolved but the underlying stories, not so much Hopefully book 3 will tie things up.

    14. I was having a hard time at the beginning figuring out all the characters and then I realized it was the second book in a series, so that may have made a difference The story was good but also felt kind of awkward with all the religion stuff.

    15. I am reading this series backwards, since I found the last one in the trilogy first and as they come available, but it doesn t matter.

    16. Traci did it again She always makes me ignore my duties and stay up really late because I can t stop reading Loved it

    17. I love this author Good, clean, story with an adventure and a little romance You can t go wrong with this author I absolutely love her books

    18. Royal Secrets is the long awaited sequel to Royal Target and picks up shortly after Royal Target ends Those of you who follow the blog know that I am a big fan of Traci s Saint Squad series and how Traci weaves romance into her suspense Royal Target and Royal Secrets are my guilty pleasures, though, based in romance yet with enough of Traci s classic suspense to keep things moving at a good pace.Royal Secrets and Royal Target appeal to me because for a little while, I get to suspend reality and [...]

    19. This book is very cute Alora DeSanto has just gone through a very tragic event with her two sons She needs help and the Royal family of Meridia has offered to help her It has to take place her because they need the Royality so the setting is very important The main problem is keeping Alora and the royal family safe Some terrorist have been after them for a while because one of the sons does not believe in the Meridian church The other son is Stefano the Prince that is tall, dark and handsome He [...]

    20. Alora DeSanto and her two sons are the only survivors of a bomb that killed her whole family yes, extended family too when their affiliation with the CIA was leaked Three years later, she accepts a temporary job from her friend Janessa Rogers from Royal Target as her personal assistant to help her balance her job and preparations for her upcoming wedding Arriving early on the scene, Alora and the boys spend time with Meridia s heir, Stefano, developing a strong friendship and dependence on one a [...]

    21. Please see this previous review to see Why I like this author s books Thank you now that you know my expectations reason for reading this book I can review it.Review I enjoyed reading this book Out of all of the books I ve read by this author I think I enjoyed this one and Royal Target than the Saint Squad Series I liked the characters I enjoyed getting to know Stephano better In Royal Target he seemed kind of arrogant and distant, and I had even considered him as the bad guy at one point, but [...]

    22. Alora DeSanto is still mourning the loss of her husband 3 years ago, in a firebombing terrorist attack She has struggled since then to make ends meet for her 2 little boys, so when a job offer comes from her good friend Janessa, she takes it Nevermind that she will now be living in a palace royal summer home and sharing a meal with Prince Stefano occasionally It all seems like a dream come true. She s not really ready for a new relationship, but the time she spends with the Prince, the her froz [...]

    23. This book was okay but I was very disappointed when I started reading it and realized that it is a sequel to Royal Target It says this NO WHERE on the cover of the book or immediately inside I only realized it because I happened to read the authors introduction to the book. But I didn t want to wait and read the first book since I already had this book in my hands It was a fun foreign royal family story, similar to maybe the Princess Diariesough maybe not similar I don t know It is an LDS fiction [...]

    24. Abramson has a talent for placing credible people in incredible situations and pulling it off I read this book off and on in the course of a day and until a little past midnight because I was well and truly hooked Yes, it s a popcorn book, a fairytale romance suspense book, but it s enjoyable and well worth the read if you like LDS novels Minor criticism Some characters who speak very formally perhaps because they re royals or supposed to be speaking French infrequently come up with a jarring co [...]

    25. Yay My 55th book of the year, and the completion of my 2016 reading challenge also tells me I am 19 books ahead of scheduleThe plot of this book wasn t as crazy and intriguing as Royal Target, but it was still very good The characters were well developed and I liked seeing of Garret and Janessa in this book as well I could have finished Royal Secrets in less than a day if I had had the time.

    26. Sequel to Royal Target and the same applies a good squeaky clean LDS romantic thriller No marvelous writing, deep insights, or difficult conflict but it was a quick enjoyable story In the first book an LDS CIA agent is assigned to help protect the royal family of Meridia and she falls in love with the prince In this second book, it s the prince s older brother and heir to the throne who falls in love with a former CIA agent, brought in by her friend to help plan the royal wedding started in book [...]

    27. I thought I had read this one already but I discovered that it is a contination of another Abramson book that I had read, ROYAL TARGETS These Abramson books are all quite a bit alike and yet I keep reading them I guess I like to read about CIA agents and Navy Seals who are Mormons I m sure that there are some real Mormon SEALS and agents, but the ones in her books always are smart, brave, loving and just so good They set the example for everyone around them And they always accomplish this goal a [...]

    28. Abramson makes the most ridiculous scenarios seem plausible This is the second in the series, but can stand alone In the little country of Meridia, Crown Prince Stefano is recovering from an accident at the family villa There he meets Alora who has come to be a personal assistant to his future sister in law Janessa Rogers Janessa is ex CIA, LDS, engaged to the younger brother, Prince Garrett and was the romance from the first novel Alora was also a CIA analyst before being widowed and left with [...]

    29. Genre LDS fiction romance I really enjoy Abramson s books so I was very excited that she had a new one out This is a sequel kind of to her book Royal Target It introduces Alora, a widow with 2 small boys, who is hired by her friend Janessa to be her personal assistant Janessa is engaged to marry the younger son of the king of Meridia small fictional country in Southern Europe and knew Alora back when both of them worked for the CIA So when it appears that someone wants to eliminate the monarchy [...]
