    1. After finishing the last in this series, I m glad I got the books very cheap Editorial issues were still a big problem The writing was still poor, using the same handful of descriptions until I just started skimming the book to find out how it ends The ending was, not surprisingly, very predictable I still liked the story as far as entertainment value, but the characters barely grew and were not well rounded or easy to relate to I was hoping that at some point the constant OMG I WUV YEW AND UR S [...]

    2. Cataclysm is the third book in The Watchers Trilogy As with Legions, this third installment starts of basically right where we left off Thank God With losing another main character I don t think that my heart could take much Thankfully it doesn t take long for us to figure out what happens with the lovely Arie But I m not going to even hint at whether or not her plan works Read the book There is a lot of action packed scenes that don t always turn out the way you want them to Lives will be lost [...]

    3. The subject of this book is awesome and even interesting The writing is so horrible I have never read such terrible writing It is so disappointing to see such a good idea for a trilogy carried out with such bad writing There were many moments when I wanted to throw the book across the room, but didn t because it wasn t worth breaking my Nook over One of the worst was when everyone kept calling the main character sweetie The author failed to make me feel anything for the characters This book is u [...]

    4. I ve enjoyed the whole trilogy Yes, some of the writing was so so, and a few flaws in the storyline, but a true love story for her soul mate and mankind in general.

    7. Cataclysm is the final book in The Watchers Trilogy, and I am a little sad to see it is over It s a strange thing when I read a series I feel like I get to know the characters personally Once the series is completed it s like bidding farewell to friends of mine, I always hate saying goodbye Maybe one day when the story has faded from my mind I can pick this series back up and hang out with Athen, Ana, Cyril, Arie, and Matilda once again. So now that I have finished the trilogy I can say without a [...]

    9. It is not often that a book will make you say Wow I didn t expect Karice Bolton s Cataclysm is such a book Cataclysm is the aptly named conclusion to Ms Bolton s supernatural adventure Watcher s trilogy In the book we continue to follow fallen angels white demons Ana, Athen, Arie and Cyril as prepare to lead their fellow white demon into the climatic battle against Azazel and his army of dark demons From the very start of the book you be hooked as there is a seamless transition from the end of t [...]

    10. Cataclysm is the final installment of The Watchers Trilogy and sadly I have to say goodbye to the characters that I got to know fondly I never thought I would get hooked to this trilogy I cannot help but envy Athen s love for Ana and vice versa which stands the test of time and of Cyril and Arie The bond among the four of them as a family is unbelievably strong and I cannot help but wish we have that kind of selfless love This endearing quality together with their struggle to keep their families [...]

    11. A stunning finale to a fantastic series Karice Bolton has created a series of books that is a breath of fresh air in a genre currently saturated with vampires and werewolves.I like how the books take up exactly where the last one left off and I also like how not everything is just laid on a plate for you, you have to connect the dots yourself Most of the time you will get confirmation of your thoughts further down the line This book is full of depth, drama and suspense You are still getting new [...]

    12. This is the final installment of the Watchers trilogy It took me a little while longer to get into this book than the first two, but I read on because I really wanted to see how Karice Bolton would settle the brewing war and find out if the characters would live happily ever after I think the romance between Athen and Ana is certainly the most powerful aspect of the book for some reason I can t help but hearing A Thousand Years by Christina Perri in my head every time they have an intimate scene [...]

    13. I rather enjoyed this book Once I read the first two, I just had to know how it would end If you did not read the first two books, you should do so now.I first must say I really grew to love all of the characters However, I did have a few problems with Ana along the way I think Karice Bolton did a good job at making a connection I think there are some questions that are still unanswered I still have a few questions about Ana and her family and how it all works I must say I found myself really ha [...]

    14. I loved this book, so much happened and all the questions were answered in this last book bringing the series to a satisfactory conclusion It is hard to review something I really liked without giving away too much but I will try So many twists and turns and Ana has developed into one kick ass warrior angel who inspired thousands to follow her into battle Lots of action and battles and a greater truth is revealed over who Ana really is and why Lilith is in her life Arie and Cyril were a wonderful [...]

    15. This is where the book ends in this triology I foud her training still fun to read I enjoyed watching her come into her own, and growing up a bit into her new role I liked going into another world within the regular mundane human world to be refreshing When Arie left and came back I thought that was cut WAY too short and almost lame It could have been emphasized a little bit , it s like whoaaa everyone can remember now, just leave stick it post its around and voila Oh well that was that The fina [...]

    16. It took me awhile to read this book, but only because it was a win and I had to order and read the first two books before I read this one Once I squeeze those books into the free time I had between my course load I was finally able to read Cataclysm I really enjoy books with strong character development and I felt this book did that I love how all the books tied together so fluidly Each book making want to read the next This book finally gave me the answers the questions the other books posed I [...]

    17. Pretty good The characters seemed well developedever freaking Ana was all good I dunno I just don t see that Or maybe I don t like that I like the doubt or possibility or weakness in all mankind to be jealous and hateful Its what makes us human To have her be the only one make the good decisions is crappy There is a four unit main character theme going go with that and the ending was a wrap up if I ever heard of one Lilith had some good left in her so she killed The great and powerful demon whic [...]

    18. I jumped immediately from Legions to Cataclysm because I was completely hooked and I still am Don t want it to be over The writing was beautiful and the overall message was brilliant Ana s strength prevailed as she was faced with one tough decision after the next She grew into her role as leader from one book to another, but her strength and resolve to look for the positive in all things and people was really moving This isn t a book or trilogy to breeze through because the nuances are what make [...]

    19. This book was pretty good The plot line was great, and it sort of ended how I wanted There was a lot of sacrifice in this one,, and it tore Ana apart The part I didn t like was it left off on a cliff hanger and there isn t another book talking about these same characters I really want to know what they do and what their adventures are after they finished everything Although a book that has a similar plot line sounds good, I just want to know about these characters Pros Nice plot line, and a lot [...]

    20. I enjoyed the first book of this series so much I loved the author s unique take on angels and demons and she truly is gifted with prose I enjoyed the slow unraveling of the mystery The second book, however, was a huge disappointment As talented a writer she is, her storytelling is lacking Conflicts are much too easily and quickly resolved and good ALWAYS triumphs evil There is no wonder of the outcome It got very boring I attempted the third book, because I just wanted to give her the benefit o [...]

    21. As I read through the book, I felt like I knew where the book was going I was surprised by the end as I did not see it coming in that way I do think the character development seemed to stagnate in this book and not grow than in the first two I really liked the love emotion Karice has put into her characters It is too bad in real life, people do not love others with that much intensity The world would be a much better place Over all I would give this book a 4, but the series is a 4.5 I would lik [...]

    22. Really a 3.5That said, I think my expectations were too high for this one The first two blew me away, couldn t put either one down between the constant action, amazing descriptions of the scenery, and the quick witted banter between the characters Somehow, I felt it was lacking in this final installment Perhaps it s because I anticipated all the plot twists even the big one , whereas the first two pieces of this story kept me on my toes I still really enjoyed the story and wouldn t hesitate to r [...]

    23. The first two books were better This one was good, but I thought some parts were a little drawn out than necessary I also believe that morals and values are VERY important in life, however, dragging it out over 3 chapters was too much for me Overall, this was a good book The reason for the four stars rather than the five stars the first two books received The ending of the story was to be expected The drilling of taking the moral route was overdone The great points of the book were the twists t [...]

    24. The Whole TrilogyAn interesting take on the battle between good and evil Initially, Ana s excitement was contagious and the book was hard to put down Naturally I bought the next 2, to see how the story line progressed The losing and finding of family got a bit redundant and fights were fairly predictable Also I guess I m not a fan of ridiculously sappy codependant relationships supernatural or not that just isn t healthy For that I guess I ll have to avoid books tagged as romance Regardless of m [...]

    25. This book gets three stars because it was okay, not awesome, but not awful I was expecting a dramatic ending, and perhaps if the plot had been the same but it had been written differently better descriptions, word choice, etc it would have lived up to expectation The story definitely suffered for lack of an editor and proper formatting I also could have done without so much of the overly sappy cheesy dialogue We get it, she s an angel, Athen doesn t have to call her one every other line for us [...]

    26. I need I adored this series I didn t want it to be over actually Cataclysm did a great job of bringing all three books to a close The final installment was written as beautifully as the first Not missing a detail and creating lots of dramatic tension between good and evil The descriptions of the Northwest were incredible Must be a lovely place I look forward to other works by this author.

    27. Maybe a generous three stars This whole last installment of The Watchers Trilogy was one long wait for the battle, which of course had a predictable outcome I was happy everything tied itself up the way it did, even if it was a little too full of warm fuzzies, wanting glances and threatening demon talk at times This series makes me want to plan a trip up to Whistler sometime in the near future

    28. I thoroughly enjoyed all three books I did however find that the third book dragged a bit but picked up speed midway through I enjoyed the interaction with Ana, Arie, Cyril and Athen and the twist with Lillith was a good one I think these books would make great movies but as all book lovers know, the books are always better than the movie I will definitely be reading Karice Bolton books in future.
