    1. UPDATED REVIEW I ve never been on a cruise ship yet , but this has me wanting to go Megan s heart was shattered and in an effort to help a friend out and to try and move on, she gets a job as an entertainer singing and dancing on the ship As hard as she tries not to fall for Bryant, the star of the show, she just can t quite help herself, but she s got some serious baggage.I ve never been hurt to the extent that Megan was, but I really wanted to her recognize that Jackson the Jerk gave her signs [...]

    2. 3.5 stars Megan recently got out of a heartbreaking relationship and isn t ready for another one Her friend, Jillian, convinces her to join her as a performer on a cruise ship She meets Bryant, one of the star performers, right away She s not interested in him and doesn t encourage him at all so it was kind of interesting that he kept pursuing her. When I was younger, I wanted to work on a cruise ship so I wouldn t have hesitated if a friend had asked me to do that I loved the cruise ship setting [...]

    3. I ve loved Connie s non fiction books, so I was excited to dive into her first fiction novel Connie Sokol writes clean, upbeat, fun romances If this is genre you enjoy, then you ll want to write down Connie s name and remember it What I LovedI enjoyed the characters in Caribbean Crossroads from Megan Bryant to all the sub characters When they were performing, I felt like I was right there in the line up with the dancers There s some really fun sassy dialog sprinkled throughout the book I loved s [...]

    4. Honestly, I can t help but be happy I had the chance to read this book I m excited to be a part of this blog tour I knew just from looking at the cover that I would like this book The title, the blue colors, the beach and the cruise ship in the background Perfect This was a great summer reading and the going is easy kind of read Not just because I wish it were me cruising the ocean waters and visiting island beaches, well, yes it is I wish it were me.Megan has been hurt She carries just a teensy [...]

    5. Ugh Started out pretty well, got to the middle it was a chore to finish it One really good chapter close to end, involving the ex boyfriend, after the tedious middle.

    6. Almost put this book down a number of times Disliked all the characters Did not enjoy the storyline, but kept hoping it would pull itself out It didn t.

    7. I read this book for a new book club I joined I ve never heard of the author beforemething new.I liked the beginning of the book But that s about it In the beginning of the book, I liked the characters There was a sense of fun with everyone being on the cruise ship It was interesting to follow their training, cabin life and adventures on their day trips I liked how the author described the dancing and the Ship life.Megan and Bryant are the two main love interests The author was good about adding [...]

    8. What a fun light hearted book It swept you right in and kept you turning pages throughout the story I really enjoyed reading Caribbean Crossroads It s about a girl named Megan trying to recover from a broken heart with the added layers of betrayal, deceit and manipulation As a result she can t trust any guy who might try to get near her without wondering what their motive is So her best friend Jillian convinces her that the best thing to do for healing is to go on a cruise ship with her as a dan [...]

    9. Caribbean Crossroads is another book that I m classifying as a fun summer read I loved how the book begins, with Megan as a performer with a talented group of young people on a cruise ship There she meets the good looking and charming Bryant, whom she is desperately trying NOT to fall in love with him I liked the feeling and fun atmosphere that the reader feels on the cruise ship I also liked their experiences together as they visit different stops in the Caribbean There is excitement on the shi [...]

    10. A cruise, a hunk, and a clean romance equals a great summer read My favorite part of this book was the tropical setting in the first half I loved the whole cruise ship vibe because I have never been to the Caribbean or on a cruise I wish there had been scenes on the actual islands but I did love the part where they went to the beach and was very jealous that I wasn t there too Because the setting of the book was so lighthearted, I was surprised that the main characters were actually very emotio [...]

    11. Megan is a college graduate, but unlike most girls her age, she s not really looking for a man right now She was dumped by a real jerk before this story starts, and you can feel her lack of trust toward the opposite sex as she interacts with the males around her Her roommate, Jillian, keeps trying to get her to go out with new guys, and when things don t seem to be working that way, she decides to basically trick Megan into signing on as a performer on a cruise ship It s the same cruise line tha [...]

    12. What I liked about the book Connie Sokol s easy, flowing style of a fun, clean romance makes this a perfect summer read There is a lot of dialogue, both internal and verbal, which keeps the pace going and resonates with female readers She adds humor and tenderness to complex relationship struggles I enjoyed the relief from those struggles that character Mrs V provided I also found the dream like setting of a cruise ship appealing, especially from the perspective of staff or performers than vaca [...]

    13. As soon as I found out the main character s name in Connie Sokol s book CARIBBEAN CROSSROADS was Megan, I was all in And when I realized that she had dark brown hair and brown eyes, I wondered, How did Connie know Of course, that s where the similarities end, but not the fun I gobbled this book up in a few hours, enjoying every minute of it This light summer read, with her fully realized hero and heroine made it unputdownable And yes, I just made up that word.Megan is a fully realized character, [...]

    14. Let me tell you why I liked this book First off, I like my romance novels to have something going on than just girl meets guy and rides off into the sunset Sure it s great if the guy is good looking and the girl is sweet, but it really gets interesting when the characters come to life and have REAL problems Connie did this so well Megan, the main character, connected to me in so many ways I could feel her trying to be courageous and solve her problems and at the same time I was so invested in h [...]

    15. First off, don t you love the cover I did This book doesn t disappoint either It really is the perfect summer read I had a hard time putting it down and it made me want to go on a cruise with my own sweetheart I cheered for the characters and really liked that the typical mean girl character had her nice moments Loved Bryant, the hunky jock who can also sing and dance, think Zac Efron in HS Musical only much hunkier Yum And the main character Megan with all her love angst, I sometimes wanted to [...]

    16. New college grad Megan McCormick just got dumped Hard.Swearing off men and relationships, Megan is coaxed into performing on a cruise ship where she meets the star performer, Bryant Johnson Handsome and charismatic, he looks like trouble, but she can t deny the intense attraction between them.Urged to find a wife and run the family lumber business, Bryant is torn between his family s expectations for his life and his own However, when he meets spunky, but love skittish Megan McCormick, settling [...]

    17. Giving Caribbean Crossroads a 3 star rating is stretching it a little bit for me I really liked about the first half of the book, and then the last two chapters were pretty good The part in between dragged for me Megan s last relationship ended very badly, and she really struggled to get over that and let herself move on Sadly, Bryant was caught in that mess He was very patient, and tried to understand that Megan needed time, but I felt like he was a punching bag I just wanted him to find someon [...]

    18. This was basically two books in one I would have give the first half four stars, but the second half barely kept me going and would have only gotten two stars It is a total relationship book The first half kept me gripped to the book waiting to see what would happen The girl and her issues got a little old by the end Everything really could happen the way it was written, but apparently I wanted a little fairy tale and not so much hard nosed, down to earth, trying to get over issues, etc You rea [...]

    19. Wow, this book was nothing like I expected it to be from the title It had so much depth and character arch making it s plot really stick out I love when books take you on a ride of than just a good story The protagonist was real and didn t do the things I expected her to The author went deeper than just are they or aren t they going to get together You delved in to Megan s world and fought with her to overcome her trust and betrayal issues The only thing I would have changed was another chapte [...]

    20. Caribbean Crossroads was such a fun, fun book to write I could see scenes clearly in my mind, as well as the characters, almost as if it were a movie I m grateful to the friends whose glimpses of a few life experiences are found in it, experiences that inspired me to transform and weave into the storyline Ironically, I wrote this book because I was looking for a good, clean romance read one night and couldn t find one that I hadn t read a hundred times note Jane Austen So I thought, I m going to [...]

    21. Meagan has been hurt Tragically, the man who she thought she loved ended up a callus jerk She was blindsided because she did not see the horrendous break up coming Throughout the book, new details are revealed that let us know why it was so traumatic and why she has a hard time trusting.Bryant is a nice guy He comes across at first as a bit arrogant The you learn about him, the likable he becomes He has many issues that he has to learn to deal with until he can be the man that Meagan needs. It [...]

    22. 3.5 stars I believe this was an freebie so check it out I liked the author s writing style, easy to slip right into I liked the first half better than the second half because of some of Megan s choices I didn t totally buy her problem or resolution I found the cruise ship and performer sections amusing I will need to find by this author.

    23. This book is a romance, but the story was deeper than many romances I ve read lately I loved the characters and watching them sort through their individual baggage The book seemed a little long, but not in a bad way I d get to what felt like a good stopping point, but there was still half the book left I appreciated that the story kept going.

    24. I was excited about reading this book because I had read that it took place on a cruise ship Well, the first third or so did, but the rest did not That was a little disappointing The other two thirds of the book kinda made me a little impatient frustrated over the status of the relationship of the two main characters, although at the end I realized why the author chose to drag it out a little.

    25. the story after the story is worth it.I struggled with this book I found it really predictable and a bit cheesy AND THEN we got to the second part of the book After the cruise And it was awesome Because real life love stories aren t as simple as telling someone your past and unloading your emotional baggage Sometimes its tricky but the story after the story is worth it.

    26. I read a wide variety of genres, but I don t think romance is my cup of tea I got this book to try out my new Kindle app love trying for free , and I love Connie Sokol, but I think I ll stick with her self help books.

    27. Umm I liked it, but it seemed like the ending was very quick I wanted the story to go on and show how the relationship changed I also thought that Megan felt sorry for herself too long, but they were her issues and not mine.

    28. If you enjoy romances, you ll love Caribbean Crossroads It was a fun read with a surprising twist The characters are strong and intriguing and the conflicts relatable I appreciate this being a clean book without bad language and steamy scenes it was just an enjoyable, delightful book

    29. 270pgs, contemporary, just graduated college and dumped by her fiance, she decides to perform on a cruise ship, she meets an entertainer, and sparks fly, his family wants him to settle down and marry, and that looks like a good idea now, until her former fiance shows up.

    30. Ugh Ugh ugh Some kind of spoilersOk What the heck Megan was a total mess and I can not believe he waited around for her That was so messed up He should have dumped her half way through the book And Jackson What a tool.
