    About "Gary Paul Corcoran"

    1. Gary Paul Corcoran

Being Irish and born but a few miles down the road from Twain s old mansion, it seems only natural that I would have been bitten by the writer s bug Being transplanted from the clapboard, Courier Ives New England of my youth to the cookie cutter, stucco subdivisions that bulldozed the orange groves of Southern California out of the way in the 1960s, I never did and never will feel entirely home here in the LA area Without going into the reasons why I ve left and come back several times over the past forty years, Watch Hill, Rhode Island is my next intended destination Though I see hearth and home as merely a base from which to launch the next adventure.Speaking of adventure, I was rebellious to a fault as a young man and completely bought into the folk music coffee house idealism of the early sixties Between that and the psychedelic era that followed, no way was I going to fight in Vietnam, which left me as a man without a country for several years and indirectly led to my incarceration in a Mexican prison From such colorful experiences, I have drawn many a tale and can only think in looking back, thank god for the unexpected life Had I gone forward in a straight line, there would have been little of which to report I am also thankful that I blossomed late as a writer Had I written much early, it would have been, to turn a phrase, wasted on the young Now, my god, I don t know how I ll have the time to tell all the stories of how I arrived here I don t fear death, but I d like to see 100, and hope only that my fingers stay limber Oh, one last thought, what a fortuitous thing that I dreamed of being a journalist as a boy and took typing lessons To watch depictions of writers who had to hunt and peck, I cringe

    1. I have been reading novels, but this one surpasses all The story is neatly arranged though with suspense not like the watery ones that the end would have been known before reading page 5 of the book.Great job you put up in the book.I will surely buy another book in your series.

    2. Such an amazing read Got me so captivated that i found myself relating to the characters, I was so curious to find out what s going to happen next that i kept flipping the pages and yet never wanted the book to end Great job i must say, very vivid and realistic character description.
