    1. 2.5 starsPenny Hudson has an upcoming novel this month, whose blurb is quite intriguing for me Because of that, I decided to see if I would enjoy her writing by reading this debut short story of hers, released last year Unfortunately, this is another sample of a short story where well, length became the major weakness I love short stories I read them quite a lot, actually However, there are few themes or plots that require than 20.000 words in order to give maximum impact on me.Because of the l [...]

    2. A very short story, which I struggled a bit with mainly because I didn t have time to get to know the characters However, the blurb was just too tempting for me to pass up.I love enemies to lovers, I love conflict, and action, and struggles between my guys, so this was calling to me I loved the bear and injury segment but I just didn t see the attraction or pull between Martin and Alex Martin was not all that attractive to me personality wise or character He was just an arrogant jackass environm [...]

    3. 4 star review by CindyPark ranger Alex is having a really bad day Having to put down an animal isn t his favorite thing to do and then to make things worse, he runs into someone who just pushes all the wrong buttons for him.Environmentalist Martin has made all the wrong assumptions about Alex and he s thrown a curve ball when Alex turns out to be the opposite of what he thinks.I liked this story The quick banter mixed with the heart pounding action keeps you on your toes and draws you in The aut [...]

    4. This was a fun read, but it was kind of like an appetizer without the meal to follow It whet my appetite, but then it was gone and I still wanted I think I was disappointed mostly because I adore the two men trying to survive the wilderness while falling in love trope and was hoping for longer and .

    5. A Joyfully Jay review 4.25 starsOh, you guys know I love my enemies to lovers stories and combined with the life or death survival, this one just called out to me This is a fairly short novella but I was really impressed with all that Hudson was able to pack into this story The beginning focuses on the park and Alex s job, as well as the conflict with the dangerous bear Hudson really immerses us in great details that make it all come alive We could really feel how much Alex loves his job as well [...]

    6. Good hurt comfort, some great banter between these two enemies who find they re not so different after all I also liked that the characters were fortyish and established in their careers Well fleshed out for a short story, but I would have loved time with them.

    7. Although predictable, an amazing read The description of the injuries and how they were treated in the cave and in the hospital are very real Worth every second
