    1. I couldn t even finish this book The main character is a spoiled immature brat Nine chapters was enough for me I couldn t care what happened to her If she wasn t smart enough to protect 15 million dollars of her own, who would care if she is going through a little hard time

    2. Definitely a book for readers of sweet romance and or chick lit As with most all romance it is eminently predictable Rich girl marries a Caribbean man who runs off with her millions and sells their house from under her Rich now poor girl goes home to mummy who lives in the posh area of Charleston Mummy has changed her will as she correctly thought the new husband was just after the family money, but she agrees to change it back Trouble is, she dies before that happens leaving her daughter high a [...]

    3. I finished it fairly quickly but I had a hard time with the copy editing, you would be reading about one thing place and the next sentence you have moved onto another aspect of the story very confusing A new paragraph would have removed that confusion I also found the story to be very predictable with way to many cues about what was going to happen that nothing was a surprise I also found the characters to not be very developed and not very believable either Not sure I will read anything by this [...]

    11. Awesome read This book was hard to put down once you started reading it.This book shows how a mother gave her daughter a lot of money to see how she would handle it The daughter fell in love with what she thought was her soul mate The man stole the 5 million dollars from her and took off Abby went crawling back to her mother to ask for help Her mother was very upset with Abby and her husband and after several days she told Abby she would contact the attorney and give her money and see hope she [...]

    12. This is the first book I have read by this author I noticed that it was self published.I got this book as a free e book on I do not know how this book got so many 4 and 5 star reviews. It was an interesting story line, but the writing was horrible It opens with e is dumped, lost all her money, goes back to mom. This bad thing happened and than that bad thing happened and than a sex scene off page with a new love interest and he moves into her bedroom than she gets all her money back.Life is all ro [...]

    13. The book started with the lead character being dumped A few pages later, she gets another shock, the loss of a family member She celebrates by ordering pizza and drinking champagne, ordering furniture for the maid and drinking plenty of any alcohol she can lay her hands on.Not your typical romance, no.Is this character going to redeem herself at some point Don t know if I want to read on to find out.

    14. Nostalgic read Loved this book It was a combination of movie visions and remembrances of my wife of fifty three years and my courtship and honeymoon at the former Ft Sumter Hotel on the battery Now that it is an assisted living building she recently said we can go back

    15. Desires of the HeartI really enjoyed reading your book about Abby and how her life came first circle It was great that even though her mother and husband left her or less high and dry, she was able to further her desires for the good life by ingenuity and her faithful friends I look forward to reading of your work.

    16. Good Karma Remy left Abby broken hearted and broke financially Life has a way of righting wrongs given enough time and faith When Abby met Eric, things started to turn around Suddenly all their dreams were attainable Very good book.

    17. Good readThe story line was good I enjoyed the characters I would love to live in either of the city s in the book, which is probably partly why I crawled right into the book and lost myself there.

    18. Good read to bring on vacationVery light and entertaining romance that makes for a good vacation read. The characters were fun and lively and made the reader feel connected to the story.

    19. Great book, good romance novel, no smut.I enjoyedIt immensely, there are serious parts, numerous parts, sad parts, just a very good overall novel I would highly recommend this book to you

    20. Fun book It s good to read about a woman who s not a victim ok, she was a victim , but then she puts on her big girl panties and does what she needs to do instead of whining or waiting to be rescued.

    21. I don t understand how this got high stars the author needs to employ an editor there is dialogue with very little action paragraphs are page long and I feel like the characters speak in one big giant breath they had no personalities, too so bland.

    22. TriteVery predictable and trite Characters were shallow Seemed like a travelogue Or maybe should ve been just a review of how the spoiled live in St Thomas and Charleston.

    23. I m finally finished I had to push myself so hard to finish Zzzzzzzzzzzxx I just didn t feel the emotionmi felt like the author expected you to feel it, because she willed it to be so.

    24. Love storyFast paced, light hearted read Hope there is another book or two to read Highly recommend this one for anyone that just likes to read, period

    25. I really enjoyed this book I look forward to going to Charleston each summer, so it was interesting to read about the city and the houses on the Battery.

    26. Could have been a good read, as the storyline was interesting but the writing was terrible It read like a robot that has never written a book wrote the book.

    27. Great bookLove this book for real it was the best ending lovethestory line but was sad for her mother but the end was gpid
