    1. Ron Ripley

Ron Ripley is a husband and father surviving in New England, a place which seems to be getting colder every day He grew up across from a disturbingly large cemetery where he managed to scare himself every night before going to bed Mostly because of the red lights that people put in front of the headstones Those things are just plain creepy to a kid.Ron enjoys writing horror, military history and driving through the small towns of New England with his family, collecting books and giving impromptu lectures on military history to his family, who enjoy ignoring him during those dreadful times.

    2. In my mind it is Halloween year round I want to read scary books, watch scary movies, and just be scared I have a Christmas tree with the Halloween theme, so I m serious about this. This was a quick read, definitely could read it in one sitting I really feel like there could have been background information on the ghosts living in the house oh yeah, this is a ghost story I wanted to know about Paul and his family and the barn It left a lot of unanswered questions I do think I ll continue with t [...]

    3. 3.5 5 A good ghost story with plenty of creepiness and likable characters Leo, the Sheldon esque ghost hunter was a personal favorite.

    4. I was hooked from the beginning I grew up hearing ghost stories and would go riding around the back roads with my aunts looking for ghosts Good times for sure This book reminded me of those times The story captivated me though, at times, it seemed like there were characters than I could keep up with I put that down to some places have ghosts than others I thought Brian and Jenny were realistic, average people, though Jenny did react weirdly at times I took that to be a part of her personality [...]

    5. Review MOVING IN by Ron Ripley Moving In Book 1 I totally enjoyed this story, a one sitting riveting read Mr Ripley has a special talent for approaching the supernatural, as demonstrated in THE BOYLAN HOUSE TRILOGY and SHERMAN S LIBRARY TRILOGY MOVING IN is just jam packed with ghosts, some lovely and some definitely not so, so naturally I just loved it The living are pretty lively too I especially enjoyed the characters of Samuel and Leo Fortunately, our beleaguered householders Brian and Jenny [...]

    7. After Brian has a heart attack before age 40, he and his wife Jenny move to the peaceful countryside to escape the stress of the city He has reduced his workload and arranged to work from home Jenny has a job in the new location But peace is not what they find immediately, Brian finds the basement door opening itself every time he closes and latches it Then a dead body is found on his property Next an invisible entity starts pouring him drinks in the kitchen, as if to say Here, you re going to n [...]

    8. So, this is the first time I have read a paranormal themed book Although I never had a keen interest in reading paranormal stuff, I wouldn t say I didn t like the genre altogether It was the cover of this book and the name written in an attractive red font that caught my attention while I was surfing for books in the Kindle store I must say the cover is well designed and the font used for the title instantly suggests that this is a horror read From the name, the book seemed very interesting to m [...]

    9. Started the book with enthusiasm and walked away disappointed To me, I wanted about the characters, about Brain and his wife, there was very little said or referenced about their relationship so I was not as invested as I wanted to be The ghosts and their presence were a backdrop to one particular ghost who seemed like a hoodlum thug than a paranormal entity Nothing really scared me in the book, and when it ended I wasn t overly understanding of why Brian would become a paranormal investigato [...]

    10. An enjoyable albeit very short read However, things moved much too quickly with little tension or build up and left me feeling little suspense or horror The characters felt much too flat and cardboard to really invest in them, and things wrap up too easily and quickly Jenny was a prime example, who I was left feeling like I knew nothing about this character and didn t contribute much to the plot.Aside from these gripes along with the constant comma splices , I did read this over two sessions The [...]

    11. A new family moves into a house that no one has been able to live inever. They are not told about this when they buy the house. How does one explain the strange disapearances within the house and deaths of people and animals on the land There are a few people in the know, including some resident ghosts.A young boy ghost seems to be the catalyst for the whole thing. He was not the good boy his friends thought he was. This is a great ghost story.I can not wait for our great narrator,Andrew Tell to tell [...]

    12. It started out so hilarious I love Brian and Jenny the main characters They were really cracking me up Then the action starts up and the ghost leaves no time for you to get bored Still you laugh at some of the characters bewilderment at first Things come together and get spooky and the story really starts to rock from there I really liked some of the later characters They were especially interesting I m going to keep with these two in the series Can t wait to see what they will have going on ne [...]

    14. Good ghostly storyBook not very long but is packed full of ghosts and action I have never read this author before I cannot wait for book 2 to come out next month Brian and Jenny moved out of the city into a house they bought They found out their new homes has a graveyard in the basement and a load of ghosts in the house and an evil kid ghost outside Loved this book.

    15. This was one of those kind of ghost stories I could not put down Ron Ripley did a great job at spooking me that s for sure, though I would have loved to known about Brian and Jess prior to moving to the house.Moving In was certainly a spooky ghost story full of ghosts and a malevolent one that controlled the others to stay rather than move on It is a quick read and I look forward to reading of Ripleys work.

    16. I just discovered this writer and have been tearing through his books This particular one is about a husband and wife who move into a house and ghosts start appearing When you read enough of his books you learn about his universe of ghosts and magic and I think he has done a great job I found his Boylan House book to be a little spookier but I like the characters in this one a lot This author has a great talent for writing ghost stories.

    17. A new haunted house storyI loved this book Despite a few editing errors, this was a very good story I became completely absorbed in this story The characters are unique and interesting Fast paced and easy to read I don t repeat parts of a book in my reviews, and dislike when others do so I highly recommend giving Mr Ripleys books a try Looking forward to I am not necessarily a fan of the horror genre, but am becoming a Ripley fan.

    18. Good readI enjoyed this book because it was a page Turner When I put the book down I wondered what was going to happen to the characters Just when I thought I knew what would happen I was wrong If your interested in the supernatural it s a good reads I will most likely be reading the next book.

    19. The book started off very well, and i liked the concept and i was able to visualize things later things got a bit messy and the pace was very fast and somethings dint seem real and there were a lot of killings which i felt was too much enjoyed the first 1 3rd of the book but could have been a better.

    20. It deserves 20stars.I really, really love this book Everything about it gave me tingles I opened this book and hardly ever closed it The story, ending and plot excently served up Will definitely go into my all time favorite FYI these ghost fears nothing

    21. Good short read I thought it would have been scarier but it was a good short read I was able to finish it in a day and was good enough to have me continue on to book two of the series.

    22. Great storyLoved the craziness that this series started out with and can t wait to read Definitely one for those into horror and ghosts.

    23. Loved every creepy page of this novel Especially the extra chapters at the ending Definitely going to look for titles by Ron Ripley.

    24. Only on page 20, but so far, this story is totally scaring me very well written Mr Ripley really know how to terrify More later going back for

    25. Unique spin on a ghost story I loved this book The story grabs you and pulls you in from the very start The book is fast paced and full of paranormal activity from start to the end There were several living characters in the book and they fit in and interacted with the books main characters to developers the background for the story plot.Seeking a quiet, stress free life after his 2nd heart attack, Brian Roy and his wife, Jenny, moved from the city to the farm lands of New Hampshire The old farm [...]

    26. Okay, I loved this book I loved the fact that not all the ghosts were evil I loved the autistic psychic I cared about the characters Brian and Jenny move into a house in the country after Brian has a heart attack Supposed to be peaceful for recooperating Yeah Right Finds hidden room in basement with graves in it Previous owners, not willing to leave Brian has the ability to see these spirits, and thanks to some psychic friends in unwillingly introduced to how to handle them This is the first in [...]
