    1. I m laughing so much right now, the actors in this graphic novel were so extra However I loved them and the backstage crew I liked how the story continued on from volume one and I enjoyed the conclusion Another middle grade graphic novel to add to my collection I m so happy kids nowadays have wonderful graphic novels like these, super diverse and really sweet with characters you can t help but love Highly recommended Especially if you enjoyed The Lumberjanes this defiantly gave me similar vibes. 2. I feel like I ve been waiting ages for the second volume to release I can t get over how wonderful this series is It s so sweet and accepting, yet has oddly creepy moments to round out the feels It s fantastic, and rapidly becoming one of my favorite series Keep it coming This wonderful world comes from the minds of James Tynion IV Batman s Night of the Owls, Detective Comics, Talon, The Woods, and much, much , and Rian Singh Munchkin, Stolen Forest I ve read some but not all of their works, an [...]

    3. Cute and somewhat creepy and hella queer.I read this as single issues but I m assuming volume 2 is 5 8 In these final episodes we learn about other backstagers and the past of the St Genesius High Backstagers. In issue 5, the Backstagers meet other backstagers, the parallels between them are easy to guess There s about Beckett s history and creepy elements.Issue 6 is even creepy it takes a weird turn and is also a bit philosophical what is theater what is its magic Jory thinks creatively and m [...]

    4. High school is a time for melodrama, and magic, and completely unrealistic senses of time and responsibility All of that is present in Tynion and Rian Sygh s second volume of Backstagers In addition to the magical realm of all backstages of high school theaters, this volume dwells on queer romance throughout gay backstage history, and lets us know that if an entire cadre of queer high schol students go missing for two weeks, the police won t be involved, and the parents will just ground their ki [...]

    5. The characterization may be thin and the plot may rushed, but volume 2 of Backstagers manages to be than the sum of its parts This is sweet, funny, and adorably LGBTQIA positive Even though this volume closes off the storyline, I hope the boys will return for adventures After several lackluster volumes of Lumberjanes this was a real treat.

    6. More magic and drama from the backstage crew at St Genesius The lost backstager Poloroid is wrecking havoc on the upcoming production of Lease a Rent like production It s up to the backstage crew to save the day So much open ness and inclusion The kids are adorable and so good at working through their problems Love all of it.

    7. Still just so so for me I do still love the coloring But the story is still lacking for me Its all so over the top Now, I m thinking the idea is Camp Which I like on an intellectual level but I m not sure on the execution But regardless, the story feels rushed and pieced together from different ideas.

    8. Love this series I was so excited when the new volume came out Sadly this is the last issues from what I read I need
