    7. Mel Stenning has been a victim most of her life Adopted by very conventional parents, she rebelled but hated herself for doing it , getting into all sorts of situations and ultimately ending up in Australia, pregnant with no chance of having anything to do with her daughter Poppy s father Returning to England she s a single mother, working for a living, finding it hard to cope, when she meets Simon Never really convinced that Simon loves her, and constantly obsessed that he s remained involved w [...]

    9. It was a pretty good read not a straight line story, I guess It jumped around telling you how you got to this point once you were already there The ending had a bit of a twist but nothing I didn t see coming after a certain point Sometimes there s comfort in knowing when the author removes the character s primary suspect, the real person who dunnit has got to be a character you re already familiar with and not some random new person out of the blue well, I guess that would be far of a twist, bu [...]

    10. Very good Very suspenseful without being too gory or gratuitous A little far fetched but still within the realms of reality at a stretch.Old locked doors, a fat man appearing on the stairs in the newlyweds creaky renovated warehouse, a missing daughter, a strange neighbour, a new marriage and a new baby, and the old cliche that the truth is not always how it appears no matter how strong the evidence A whodunnit with a twist.

    11. Very creepy thriller You expect the killer to be someone and it surprises you at every turn The big twist at the end, I was not expecting and usually I m good at guessing It is something you ll probably only read once because once you know the twist, it s not worth reading again, except maybe once so you can see all the hidden clues Still, worth a read.

    12. Looking forward to reading many books by this author Thoroughly enjoyed this book The end was confusing just because of how Si was portrayed throughout the book so for him to be innocent was unexpected
