    1. I love to watch the show Ghost Whisperer Reading the books lets me see what I can t see on TV I ve read two of these books and really enjoyed getting to know Melinda and Jim better Some might think these books will be too scary to read but they are not The story is touching, loving and funny at times.

    2. No synopsis I enjoyed the main plot of the singing ghost that lures children into a coma I think Durgin does a fine job with Melinda s ghost encounters and the segments where she experiences visions She does well with descriptions and detail so the reader gets an excellent sense picture of what Melinda experiences and feels. She has a wonderful handle on the voices of each character Dialogue sounds believable and their actions are true to what the writers actors have brought to us on screen Parti [...]

    3. It s a true book about how she sees ghosts and can help them when they go to bed for help and crosses them over to the light.

    4. The problem I always have with reading any kind of media tie in novel is of course that if I m not familiar with the source material, chances are high that I m not going to know who any of the characters are going in, or what the setup of the world is supposed to be But, that given, Doranna Durgin s Ghost Whisperer novel Ghost Trap does a good job giving a newcomer reader just enough data to get the idea.I m a big fan of Durgin s work I prefer her fantasy novels, but was pleased to see here that [...]

    5. I like to give every book its fair chance, but I am NOT a fan of Durgin s writing style I mean, I suppose the plot was well conceived, but not stunning The ending wasn t even a surprise I guess my main problem with the book was that I don t think Durgin managed to pull off the witty dialogue that is such a big part of the show it just sounded corny in this book I much preferred Piziks Plague Room, but that s the only other Ghost Whisperer novel I ve read.

    6. Excellent book Jamie the main character shows intelligence, honor and he is ethical The story takes place in a small lobster town in Maine Not only is the story good but the descriptions of the local like is very good.
