    1. Tom Stoppard s play Rosencrantz and Guildenstern Are Dead retold Hamlet from the perspective of two minor characters Tag Bink Were Here is essentially the Star Wars version of that as two nobodies stumble from one wrong place to one wrong time and in the process show us the story of the original trilogy and the prequels, as well as inadvertently playing a role in the overall saga As you d expect from that concept, the tone of Kevin Rubio s script is very light and silly and Lucas Marangon s art [...]

    2. A story that tries too to be funny, and although has a few sublime moments, those are too few I wonder why I had such a fondness for this book, but it s not the classic I was hoping it was This book hit all of its objectives, it was intended to be funny and it worked, but I felt none too richer after reading it.

    3. So what happens when two basically inept Rebels on the Tantive IV decide to disguise themselves as storm troopers instead of facing certain death A very silly series of comics Tag and Bink are everywhere, usually in disguise, and usually doing no good It s revealed in the prequel comic that Anakin s horrible romantic lines were actually fed to him by young Tag and Bink, which explains so very, very much It s a silly parody, but a lot of fun to read.

    4. Forgot to mark this as read a few weeks ago Honestly this was just OK but it gets 3 stars for the meta humor Star Wars fans who like parody will enjoy it, but I ll take Mad magazine s straight parodies of the movies over this any day.

    5. so disappointed I thought this would be hilarious, it had a few funny parts, but for the most part it was lame The art was pretty good.

    6. Tag Bink series is probably one of my favourite Star Wars spinoff series that I ve ever read it s a great parody of Rrosencratz and Guildenstern are Dead, with a lot of cameos and even fourth wall breaking and how they actually involved in major events in Star Wars made this better I also love their bromance or such an otp cough that already been made from the Episode 2 AND THEY EVEN A FRIEND OF ANAKIN SKYWALKER OHMY yep, rated this 3.5 stars too bad there s only a little of this even though the [...]

    7. 3.5 stars I thought this was pretty funny and I could tell the writer had a lot of love and knowledge of the Star Wars universe I thoroughly enjoyed the first three issues quite a bit, but I felt the last one came up flat a bit It reminded me of the old Mad or Cracked magazines I used to look at when I was a kid and it was a nice take on some funny parts of the movies

    8. Inspired by the Shakespearian back story parody of Hamlet, Rosencrantz and Guildenstern Are Dead , Tag Bink is a very clever non canon read Unfortunately, I m not sure that this will hold well with future canon works, but it was a lot of fun nevertheless This is a work any Star Wars fan would find to be entertaining.

    9. Very clever use of the star wars story and how to two crazy guys get mixed up playing on both sides A very clever use of the star wars story and how two crazy guy s got mixed up playing on both sides

    10. Great Star Wars parodyReally enjoyed this book, gave a lot to think about when watching the movies from now on If you like star wars, you should read this.

    11. Rosencrantz Guildenstern for Star WarsWell written and extremely witty I m really glad I stumbled upon the series A very quick read that you won t regret.

    12. A fun idea that s well drawn I wish the writing had a little to it Definitely worth spending an afternoon with it though.

    13. This is a parody of the entire Star Wars series of movies that had appeared up to the time of publication in 2006 Tag and Bink are two bumblers that through incompetence, luck and occasionally the actions of others end up in many of the major scenes in the movies It opens with them being two of the soldiers defending Princess Leia in the opening scene of her capture in episode IV.Their adventures take them forward and back within the Star Wars storyline, including a review of their childhood as [...]

    14. I received this book as a Christmas gift, and was finished reading it before the social event I received it at had concluded for the evening. The Comic follows Tag Bink two Rebel Alliance troopers that are captured along with others when Darth Vader captures Princess Leia s Correllian Corvete at the beginning of Star Wars Episide IV A New Hope The comedic work follows the two protagonists the term hero really doesn t apply to either of them during their subsequent escape via stolen Imperial Storm [...]

    15. What I likedFirst off, the art pencils and colors are completely awesome The characters are so well drawn and extremely detailed that it is easy to tell what is happening in each panel This adds significantly to the humor of the actual story, as much, if not , than the actual writing. The humor is subtle when it needs to be and at times goes over the top For me, there were several laugh out loud moments, like when Tag and Bink keep calling Boba Fett Boo Boo or when they were dressed as imperial g [...]

    16. The many mis adventures of Tag Bink is a delightfully hilarious and witty look into the world of the Star Wars saga and this compilation is certainly far coherent and clever than George Lucas latest film attempts The Rosencrantz and Guildernstern of the Star Wars world, Tag and Bink prove that no every single lead character in the universe has to be a hero or villain of epic proportions Just trying to survive in a universal conflict they can hardly grasp except when it comes to passing as heroe [...]

    17. A parody of the first six Star Wars movies We follow along Tag and Bink as they traverse the galaxy It starts with them minding their own business on Princess Leia s ship until the ship gets boarded by Darth Vader and the stormtroopers Instead of dying they choose to borrow the armor of a pair of dead stormtroopers and their adventures really begin. This book chronicles their adventures as we see many of the scenes from the Star Wars movies 4 6 and then 1 3 I enjoyed how this book basically makes [...]

    18. Loved this book LOVED IT Reread it multiple times, and if I need a quick, quirky read to help me relax, I ll go for it again And I still will even when I m a crotchety old lady.It s very well written, it s entertaining, it s damn hilarious and it s on the topic of surprisingly, Star Wars, which is the last place I expected to find comedy gold The art is pretty good too, and I m damn impressed by the classical inspiration of this book Almost as impressed as by the lore of Star Wars used to insert [...]

    19. These were funny Tag and Bink are two members of the Rebellion, who, while disguised as Storm Troopers, get brought aboard the Death Star During their attempts to get away, they become entangled in many major plot points fans will recognize from the movies This volume contains the stories Tag and Bink are Dead Part 1, Tag and Bink are Dead Part 2, The Return of Tag and Bink, and Tag and Bink Episode 1, which is a prequel All together a fully enjoyable night of reading.

    20. This is definitely Star Wars done silly Tag and Bink manage to stumble through almost every important scene of the saga while they try to keep from getting blasted. While the story is humorous, it still has its own consistency that keeps it entertaining and manages to keep true or less to the saga. There are plenty of little visual jokes drawn into the background The artwork is a perfect fit for the story.

    21. As a lifelong Star Wars fan I m shocked I didn t read this sooner Rubio and Marangon effortlessly weave their characters Tag and Bink into the Star Wars universe and it s an immensely fun read Imagining how these hapless characters manage to work their way into pivotal Star Wars moments, from Rebel fighters to Imperial Royal Guards, is such a great bit of entertainment.

    22. For all its silliness, the saga of Tag Bink is extremely clever I don t know what took me so long to hear of it, but I m very glad I did If I only liked graphic novels I d have liked it, and if I only liked Star Wars I d have liked it Lucky for me I like both

    23. Wow After all the praise I ve heard about this, I really thought it would be funnier It just kind of goes through the motions, snidely commenting on scenes as we go through the movies Not very funny, nor engaging.

    24. Star Wars meta humor Heard rave reviews, but it just didn t follow through There is some truly funny stuff here though, but often it s in the background look carefully You ll find all sorts of things.

    25. Rosencrantz Guildenstern meet Star Wars What s not to love When two bumbling rebels don Stormtrooper armor, they end up bouncing their way across the Star Wars trilogy, accidentally taking part in nearly every iconic scene, Back To The Future Part 2 style.
